Our aim
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA on this website. We are stating that as a target we work to, not as a certified result, because no independent audit has been carried out.
What we have done and verified
Color contrast. Text and background combinations were checked programmatically against the WCAG contrast formula, 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text.
Semantic structure. Pages use real headings in order, real lists, real tables and landmark regions, with a skip link to the main content, so a screen reader can navigate them.
Navigation without a mouse. The product and solution menus and the mobile menu are native disclosure elements, so they open and close from the keyboard and on touch without any scripting. Focus is visible on every control.
Motion is limited and respects your settings. The relationship map on the home page draws its connecting line once. It carries no information that is not also in the text beside it, and it stops for anyone whose system requests reduced motion. There is no autoplaying media and no carousel.
Works without JavaScript. There is none, including the working-session form, which is a plain HTML form rather than a scripted widget. Nothing on the site depends on scripting, so it works in any browser and any assistive technology.
Text scales. Layout uses relative units, so browser zoom and enlarged default font sizes reflow the page rather than clipping it.
Diagrams carry text. Every diagram is inline SVG with real text, a title and a description, and the surrounding page states the same point in prose.
What we know is not finished
Long descriptions. Article figures have accessible titles and short descriptions, but not yet full text alternatives describing everything the diagram shows. In every case the surrounding article states the same point in prose.
No assistive-technology testing. We have not yet tested with screen readers in a structured way, or had the site audited by anyone with lived experience of using one. Until we have, treat the AA claim above as our intent rather than a result.
PDFs and downloads. Any document we publish for download has not been separately remediated for accessibility.
