Planned means: a committed direction. There is no application to evaluate yet. There is no Closing application to buy, pilot or evaluate today, and this page does not describe one. It describes the problem domain and the intended direction.
What exists today: the shared Mortgage Intelligence Platform and the QC application, which is available for evaluation on controlled files.
The job
What this application is for
Establish that a file is ready to close, and that what closed is consistent with what was disclosed.
Intelligence for disclosures, settlement readiness, closing conditions, document consistency, timing, and execution requirements. The same six pillars that serve quality control serve this stage: the canonical mortgage record, effective-dated knowledge, domain reasoning, deterministic tools, the evidence record and mortgage-specific evaluation. What changes is the decision being supported and the requirements that apply to it.
Quality control is where the platform proves that intelligence can be accountable. Closing is where the same accountability would be applied before the loan closes, and it earns its place by demonstrated capability on real files rather than by appearing here.

The shared platform, through quality control
The intelligence layer underneath this application is the one underneath QC, and QC runs on real files today. A working session on a synthetic file, or on de-identified files of your own, shows the platform's approach to documents, data, policy, calculations, exceptions and evidence in the stage where it is already accountable.
